Winners of Group A in the 2002 World Cup, Denmark missed on qualifying after finishing third in a tight group, albeit by only 3 points.  The Danes are no stranger to the World Cup, most notably reaching the quarterfinals in 1998, and should be back in action as soon as 2010.
